Manchester United are said to make Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka their second summer signing of the season as he nears a move to the club.
Sport tabloid Goal claims that the right-back is expected to undergo his medical next week ahead of the completion of his transfer.
It is believed that Manchester United and Crystal Palace have agreed on a transfer fee thought to be within the region of £55 million. Wan-Bissaka is viewed as the heir apparent to the right-back position as current option Ashley Young is in the twilight of his career.
Wan-Bissaka is expected to arrive at Carrington following his return from European u21 tournament as England failed to make it from the group stage.
The 21-year old is considered as one o the best prospects in his position and was exceptional for Crystal Palace last season. His greatest attributes is his pace and ability to track back which is reminiscent of Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that Wan-Bissaka would be the ideal player for the position as he looks to implement a higher defensive line for next season.
United fans would be hopeful that the move is announced in the next few days so that the club can move on to other targets.
