Personal terms agreed, £65m-rated attacker leaves training session ahead of move

With the close of the transfer window a few days away, Manchester United still have some transfer deals yet to be completed.

The Red Devils for some weeks have been linked with a move to sign Portugal international, Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

However, Daily Mirror reports that the Portugal international is on his way out of Sporting Lisbon to Man Utd.

The report reveals that the Midfielder left Sporting’s training ground with his agent, Miguel Pinho on Friday afternoon. This is coming after it was earlier reported that Fernandes had agreed personal terms with Man United.

This is a confirmation that the midfielder is ready to leave Lisbon but his new destination is yet to be known.

However, the latest report from Portugal is pointing to the fact that the Red Devils are losing the race to sign Fernandes to Tottenham, who reportedly sent some of their representatives to discuss a transfer deal on Thursday.

Sporting Lisbon are demanding £65 million for their captain, which Tottenham are the only ones showing keen interest to agree a deal.

Fernandes is known for his goalscoring skills from last season, which is why many of the clubs are interested in signing him.

Hopefully, in the next few days, we will get to know who finally signs Fernandes or whether he would opt to remain in Portugal.

  1. I just can’t understand Man United in how they go about with transfers. You have a player that is willing to come and play for you with the ability to play in midfield and strike as well and then they are not considering to make the deal come to completion. They are just playing around this thing until some other clubs will come and snatch him from our grasp and use him as weapon against us. I think Ed Woodward should not be a part of transfers, he is bad with it.

    1. woodward is the WORST at it. That includes his sidekick, judge, who “negotiates” the deals. He doesn’t care about the product on the field, but how many kits he can sell. Or how he can nickel/dime the signings so the glazers can take $1B a pop in loans. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will get the DOF because they will take power from woodward & he wants to run the club in to the ground all on his own.
