Personal terms agreed, player eager to complete Man United move

Manchester United have been craving for reinforcements as the club are looking to challenge for titles next season. The club have so far brought in Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Swansea ace Daniel James.

However, one transfer that appears to be stalling is that of Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes. The 24-year-old has been linked to the club since the end of last season but no progress has been made thus far.

According to reports from football reporter Nicolo Schira, the Portugal international is waiting on both clubs to reach an agreement on a transfer fee.

Fernandes has agreed personal terms with Manchester United but talks between the two clubs have delayed the transfer.

Sporting Lisbon are holding out for a transfer fee around £70 million but Manchester United value the player at around £50 million.

There have been different speculations about the move but Nicolo Schira is a reliable journalist who is well-informed about the transfer dealings of top Premier League clubs.

Manchester United fans would be hoping that this transfer would be completed quickly, as this would enable the player to link up with the team for pre-season.

Fernandes is known as a modern attacking midfielder with the ability to create and score goals. The 24-year old registered 32 goals and provided 18 assists in all competitions last season.

  1. Edwood, speed up the transfer business please. Only two signings are not enough as our club starts the preseason training.
