Manchester United are close to signing Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes according to reports from Portugal.

Fernandes is regarded as one of the elite midfielders in Portugal after enjoying a fruitful campaign for Sporting Lisbon.

His performances brought the attention of the top clubs in Europe with United leading the charge for his signature. Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly a huge fan of the player and has earmarked him as a good signing for the midfield.

However, the club faces increased competition from rivals Manchester City and Liverpool who have expressed interest in the 24-year-old midfielder.

United are preparing a bid of around £71 million which they believe would be sufficient to complete the transfer. Sporting Lisbon are willing to sell but are looking to receive the maximum amount for the Portuguese international. However, here’s how Fernandes will look in Man United shirt once the deal pulls through.

Fernandes has in the past indicated his willingness to play in the Premier League and no club comes bigger than Manchester United in England.

The 24-year-old has his best career numbers after scoring 31 goals and providing 23 assists in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon.

He looks the perfect complement for Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in the midfield and it is looking increasingly likely that a transfer is imminent.

This is a great news at least making a move to sign Bruno Fernandez and Daniel James. But since united are about to rebuild the squad they should look into this players, they’re cheap in amount but great in value and are capable of bringing Glory to Old Trafford again. (1) Che Adams (Rw) Birmingham City = price £6.3m (2) Max Aarons (Rb) Norwich City (3) Ben Godfrey (cb/Hm/cm) Norwich City price = 10m (4) Jarrod Bowen (RM/LM/CM) Hull City =price £8m. Then you sign Dybala and Ruben Diaz. With this list of players United with returned to their winning ways. Thankyou.
