Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The signing which was confirmed on Saturday was the end of what has been a protracted transfer this summer.
News about the transfer had begun to surface three weeks ago with both clubs locked in negotiations for weeks. United had initially had several bids rejected before Crystal Palace agreed on a transfer fee believed to be worth £50 million.
The 21-year-old would be the second signing for the club after the arrival of winger Daniel James from Swansea.
The Red Devils announced the signing of the player on their official Twitter page with photos and videos of the player posing with the famous red jersey. The defender is known for his ability to defend opposing wingers while providing marauding runs.

He would be expected to be thrust into the first team ahead of current options Ashley Young and Diogo Dalot.
The transfer of Wan-Bissaka has brought optimism to the fan base of the club with many lauding the transfer of the player that could hold the position for the next decade.
Wan-Bissaka is a decent player and has the opportunity to join the legendary fullbacks that have stepped into the Theatre of Dreams which includes the likes of Gary Neville and Patrick Evra.
