This is great news for Arsenal fans as the prospect of them landing a new midfielder is very high this summer.
Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Real Madrid midfielder, Dani Ceballos as a replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who moved to Turin this summer.
However, the latest report hinted that the Gunners will finally be able to sign the attacking midfielder on loan having agreed to pay his wages for one year worth £2.7 million (which works out at £50,000 per week).
This is an amount Arsenal can easily pay considering the fact that some of their players currently earn above that.
Arsenal would have lost the bid to sign Ceballos to rival side Tottenham Hotspur but Mauricio Pochettino wanted a permanent deal, which doesn’t suit neither Real Madrid nor the player.
Also Ceballos prefers a move to the Emirates stadium in order to play under Unai Emery who have assured him of regular game time at the London club.
Real Madrid on their part are not ready to lose the top-rated attacking midfielder even though coach Zinedine Zidane disclosed that Ceballos is not part of his team for next season.
The midfielder is expected to undergo medical this week and here’s how he would look in an Arsenal shirt after completing the loan transfer.
