Manchester United are set to face rivals Tottenham in pre-season on Thursday in the International Champions Cup in Shanghai.
United have been impressive in pre-season, winning their last three matches without conceding a goal which bodes well for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
We preview the team that could face Tottenham on Thursday.
David de Gea is likely to start in goal having played in the 1-0 victory over Inter Milan. The Spaniard seems a happy man and we expect him to feature against Spurs.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be given a rest and Portuguese youngster Diogo Dalot could be given a run-out in the game. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling in the centre back position could join Dalot in the defence.
Both players were maligned by fans last season, and are looking to impress manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Ashley Young is expected to start in the left back position as Luke Shaw could be rested.
The midfield could also be reshuffled in the midfield. Scott McTominay and Fred could start in the middle of the park.
Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial should start on the flanks while Juan Mata should play behind the forward.
Mason Greenwood is expected to continue his run in the team upfront.
Manchester United predicted XI vs Spurs: De Gea; Dalot, Smalling, Jones, Young; Fred, McTominay, Lingard, Mata, Martial; Greenwood.
