Wissam Ben Yedder agrees terms with Man United

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Wissam Ben Yedder from Sevilla. According to reports from England, the former Toulouse forward has agreed personal terms with the club.

However, the transfer is subject to the departure of Romelu Lukaku from the club. The Belgium forward is believed to be closing in on a move to San Siro.

It is understood that Manchester United are looking at the Sevilla forward as a possible replacement for Lukaku.

Ben Yedder has been excellent at the Spanish side since making the move in 2016 and considered as a bargain signing for the club.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to have informed Lukaku that Marcus Rashford is his first choice striker for next season. Ben Yedder has a release clause of £35 million which according to United is a good fee for the player.

According to The Express, Inter Milan are also looking at a player swap deal which includes Lukaku and Mauro Icardi. It is understood that this is also under consideration by the Red Devils but United are wary of the drama that the player brings with him.

Ben Yeddar is a decent signing for the club and £32 million is a good fee for the player.

I clearly see an impasse with the Lukaku saga. Lukaku is under contract. Until he is bought. And Man U is bound to pay his salary till then. If there is a boil over of emotions on either side let professionalism prevail. At the end of the day Manchester United is bigger than any player or any coach. I would appeal to the coach to concentrate on harnessing the best qualities from Lukaku in the interest of the club. In the minds of most footballing experts Lukaku is world class in his role. His goal return, even in a barren year, is better than any one else. He scores more field goals than anyone in Man U right now.

Unfortunately Romelu appeared to be carrying a lot of excess weight around his mdrift last season, this and his first touch up front showed him up to be an out of shape forward who had lost his goal scoring touch innand around the eighteen yard box. I know the saying form is temporary class is permanent he just didn’t ouze that class last season.
