Having signed the likes of Dani Ceballos, William Saliba, and Nicolas Pepe, it looks as though Unai Emery wants to sign more players next week.
Reports from Italy have linked Emery with a move to sign Sami Khedira from Juventus this summer.
The midfielder is one of the players that is expected to leave Turin this summer owing to the arrival of Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal and Adrien Rabiot from PSG.
However, there is a condition that the Arsenal board wants fulfilled before they can carry on with the transfer deal for Khedira.
Reports from England disclose that Arsenal wants Juventus to terminate his contract so that they can sign the midfielder on a free transfer.
It is uncertain if the Old Ladies will accede to this request but that would be known between now and Monday. However, it is believed the Italian side will be reluctant to sell any of their first team players considering the fact that Paulo Dybala is set to complete a swap deal to Man Utd.
It is not a good move for Arsenal to sign another midfielder after they had already signed Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid. Emery may be thinking about the future since they only signed the Spanish midfielder on a temporary deal. However, the coach ought to focus on signing a new defender.
