New Juventus coach, Maurizio Sarri has disclosed he likes one player in the English Premier League and he does not play for his former club Chelsea.
Maurizio Sarri in his statement said he likes Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ‘very much’.
This comes amidst rumours linking Pogba with a move away from Manchester United to one of Real Madrid, where he hopes to join his fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane, or a return to his former club, Juventus.
However, Maurizio Sarri while speaking about the French midfielder likely return to Turin said he is not the Old Ladies technical director and so he does not know whether or not Pogba will come to Juve.
Sarri went ahead to disclose the situation surrounding the Frenchman’s transfer. He, however, added that Pogba still remains a Man Utd player.
“I am not the technical director, so I do not know [if Pogba will come to Juventus],” Sarri said.
“I like him very much, but I don’t know the situation. Paul Pogba is a Manchester United player, so I don’t want to talk about that.”
This comment from Sarri comes a few days after Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola disclosed that the Frenchman future may still be at Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba was one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s key players last season and the coach has made it known that he wants to build his team around the Frenchman while urging him not to leave.
And also, it looks as though no offer seems to be forthcoming from Real Madrid for Pogba as well, which means he has nowhere to go than to stick with the Red Devils.
