The tenure of Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea has been a strange one as his future has been in the air all season.
In true Chelsea fashion, it looks like the reign of Sarri as Blues boss is over as several reports claim that the former Napoli coach is set to be unveiled as the new manager of Juventus.
According to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is willing to allow a transfer of the 61-year-old back to Italy.
Juventus are keen on signing Sarri as his stock remains high in Italy which has been bolstered by the Europa League triumph which gave Sarri his first title in his managerial career.
The Guardian reports that Sarri is set to sign a three-year deal with Juventus after leaving the west London club on a free transfer. but there could yet be a twist.
Chelsea could yet keep the manager as he was able to secure the major milestone of returning to the Champions League.
Despite this, there is a growing feeling at Stamford Bridge that he is more likely to leave in the summer. Several names have been linked as his replacement which includes former Juventus coach Max Allegri, Frank Lampard and Javi Garcia.
Whatever the case may be, Sarri has done a good job at the club and deserves a place in the hearts of the Chelsea fans.
