Manchester United have been linked with several players but the club are yet to announce a marquee signing this summer. This has become a source for concern but latest Man United news reveals that this could be about to change.
It is reported that Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has implored club chief Ed Woodward to complete the signing of Sporting Lisbon ace Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes has been linked to United all season but there have been no indications that a deal has been agreed by both parties.
London side Tottenham entering the race for the midfielder has made the transfer intriguing in recent days. Solskjaer is keen on signing the midfielder and has informed the club to ensure a deal is agreed before the start of July.
Fernandes is regarded as a quality midfielder and was impressive for Sporting Lisbon last season. The midfielder who is valued at £70 million scored 32 goals and provided a further 17 assists helping Sporting Lisbon win the Portuguese Cup.
He is regarded as a complete attacking midfielder with the ability to determine the outcome of matches. His creative ability and goal scoring from outside the box would add an extra threat to the Red Devils.
