Solskjaer tells Man United board to complete transfer of £89m midfielder

Manchester United are ready to cash in on star player Paul Pogba according to reports in England.

The France international has had a roller-coaster ride since his move from Juventus and recently made controversial statements suggesting that he wants out from the club.

It is understood that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to sanction a transfer for the midfielder. Pogba is not short of suitors with Real Madrid and Juventus interested in the World Cup winner.

United have set an asking price of £140 million for the dynamic midfielder as they look to rebuild their squad ahead of the new season.

United chief Ed Woodward is reluctant to go all out in the transfer window and has provided a transfer kitty of £100 million for Solskjaer to spend on new players. If the club were able to sell Pogba it would add an extra £100 million to the transfer purse.

United have been linked with several players this summer and have had bids rejected for Bruno Fernandes and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils have also pulled out of the race for Kalidou Koulibaly and Jadon Sancho due to the huge fees demanded by their clubs.

Pogba is a player that divides opinions but it could be in best interest if the club sold him and replaced him with loyal players.

Ed Woodward is the perfect fool – Utd must sell Pogba and use the money to buy new blood who at least can sweat it out week in – week out for the benefit of the club.

One other thing OGS should impose on the ‘young, big headed and moody’ players who are driving Lambo, Bentley, Audi, God knows what else, to come to training in cars more tuned to their performance on the field!!!! What’s the use of coming in £50K car/SUV and perform like a £8K sub-compact!!!!
