The first month of the transfer window is coming to an end and only Real Madrid can be said to have made huge moves so far. However, with two months still remaining to the end of the window, several blockbuster deals are expected.
One of such deals could be involving Arsenal and Atletico Madrid according to reports from England. The Telegraph reports that Atletico Madrid are interested in Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin.
The report further confirms that Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is keen on the bolstering his defence following departures of Juanfran and Diego Godin.
Bellerin is seen as an ideal player for the club and they are looking to test Arsenal by offering a player-cash deal. The Telegraph claims that Atletico have prepared a package involving skillful forward Vitolo as part of the deal.
Vitolo is well-known to Unai Emery during his time as manager of Sevilla, where the pair won three Europa League titles.
Bellerin is considered as one of the most important players for the Gunners and has been earmarked by some fans as the future captain of the club. The 23-year-old is valued at £50 million although his current injury status could change the complex of the transfer.
Vitolo is the sort of winger that Emery loves as he can fill in on both the right and left attacking positions. However, he risks annoying the club supporters if he sanctions this transfer.
